This represents the highest level of hydroelectric generation recorded since June 2025.<\/p>\n<p>Electricity generation from natural gas fell to one of its lowest levels since February 2025. This trend reflects the favorable hydrological conditions observed during the period, which enabled the system to reduce its reliance on fossil fuel sources, particularly natural gas and petroleum derivatives.<\/p>\n<p>The renewability index between October 2024 and October 2025 ranged from 62% to 73%, peaking in December 2024 (73%) and October 2025 (72%), when fossil fuel contributions were at their lowest. The most pronounced declines were observed in March 2025 (62%) and August 2025 (63%), months characterized by higher use of non-renewable sources.
